Grilled Tenderloin
Have your
tenderloins cut into 1" thick steaks, marinate 30 minutes for a young deer or 1
hour for an old buck in Dale's (available at Food Lion and other grocery
stores). Wrap with bacon and peg the bacon in place with a toothpick. Grill over
hot coals until medium well, serve hot.
Barbeque
Put about a 2 lb.
deer roast and a 2 lb. pork roast in the crock pot, cover with water and add a
little salt, let cook on low overnight. Drain off the water, the meat will fall
apart, take a fork and mix it up good. Add plenty of Hot BBQ sauce to taste, serve on buns with slaw.
Jerky
marinade
2 cups soy sauce,
1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 cup Hickory Smoke BBQ sauce, 1 heaping tablespoon cayenne
pepper, 1 heaping tablespoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder. This is
enough to marinate a gallon sized freezer bag full of meat.
